In all of these areas the work begins with a consultation that defines the question, organises the available documents and identifies what remains to be clarified. Many applications involve more than one authority and more than one country, so the order of the steps matters as much as their content. No page on this website promises a timeframe or an outcome: the final decision always rests with the competent authority.

Languages and appointments

Appointments are held in Portuguese, English and Spanish, in person in Porto at Praça de Carlos Alberto 123, 3rd floor, Rooms 33/34, 4050-159 Porto, and remotely for clients elsewhere in Portugal or abroad.

Remote appointments are held by video call or telephone, with documents sent in advance, and require no travel to Porto in any of the areas described. In-person consultations remain available for anyone who prefers to deal with the matter face to face. In either format, the language of the consultation is chosen by the person booking it.

How the content is prepared
